Bitumen / Oil / Gasoil

Bitumen:

 

Due to their good compatibility with bitumen, Evatane® and Lotyl® are polymers of choice to be used in bitumen modification, to increase road safety criteria (skid resistance, stopping distance) and driving comfort (traffic noises, porous asphalt).

 

PMB (Polymer Modified Bitumen) with Evatane® are recommended to improve the resistance of the binder against crack propagation or stress, for instance resulting from temperature variations.

 

EVA are used to lower the pour point of crude oil (anti-sedimentation agent).

Oil Field and Fuels Additives:

 

Oil Fields Chemicals:

EVA are used as paraffin control agents for the production and transportation of crude oil. They lower the pour point and avoid the formation of wax deposites.

Fuel Additives:

EVA are used as wax modifier for middle distillates: Diesel fuels and heating oils.

They are acting as cold flow improvers, lower the pour point and the Cold Filters Plugging Point (CFPP) of fuels.
